If you've spotted a wrong figure on a council page, please include the council name, the field you think is wrong, what it should be, and the source you're using to verify (council schedule URL, MHCLG table, etc.).

Response time

We aim to respond to most emails within 2-3 working days. Data corrections are usually fixed within a working week — we batch them with the next site rebuild. Privacy queries get priority and are answered within 5 working days.

What we can't help with

We're an independent publisher of council tax information, not a council or government body. So we can't:

Tell you what your individual council tax bill should be — your council's bill is authoritative
Process payments, set up direct debits, or change your account details
Approve or reject council tax reduction or discount applications
Challenge your band on your behalf — that's done through the Valuation Office Agency
Provide legal or financial advice about your specific circumstances
